Won the second prize in the 2024 Shenzhen intelligent dexterous hand competition
On December 19th, the final of the 2024 Shenzhen intelligent machine dexterous hand competition came to an end in Longgang District, Shenzhen. Shenzhen Ruiyan Intelligent Control Co., Ltd. (Ruiyan Intelligent Control Team) stood out from more than 100 participating teams and won the second prize.
The competition is hosted by The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), Shenzhen Institute of artificial intelligence and robotics, and Guangdong Provincial Innovation Center for Embodied intelligent machines. In the final on the 19th, 20 teams fully demonstrated their own technology and creativity based on the actual needs of industrial manufacturing scenarios, and completed the specified tasks and additional challenges within the specified time. As the starting team, the Ruiyan team used self-developed 15-degree-of-freedom dexterous hands, as well as six-axis robotic arms + depth camera visual recognition, to efficiently complete the competition.
Dexterous hand technology is one of the most challenging and promising directions in the field of intelligent robots, which not only involves the mechanical flexibility of the robot itself but also concerns its ability to perform precise operations in complex environments. The advancement of this technology will directly transform the operational models of traditional industries, improve work efficiency, and reduce error rates.
This award recognizes the leading edge of Ruiyan Zhikong in the research and application of dexterous hand technology for embodied robots. In the future, Ruiyan Zhikong will continue to strengthen the research and in-depth integrated application of products and new large model computing technologies, actively explore new scenarios and models of embodied intelligence, and contribute to the development of the industry.
